Ontwerpwerk was mede initiatiefnemer van FunLab, een Masters opleiding aan de Design Academy in Eindhoven.

FunLab is all about designing experiences. The goal is to create a new and flexible 'meshwork' of knowledge on how to enhance the experiential quality of our designed environment. This knowledge base combines the best (and we’re constantly finding out what thatis) practices in the international context of art, design and society. The course researches the outer confines of all artistic disciplines and has been active since 2000, within an international network of institutes and companies.

Questions: how to maximize minimalism and how to minimize the max – where’s the balance? We deal with a global audience on economic and cultural levels. FunLab’s research focuses on individuals and the mass. FunLab explores the uncharted territory between economics and culture. FunLab projects, mostly in collaboration with commercial clients, are always based on 'out of the box' ideas and are open to further discussion and development. FunLab touches on a wide range of environments to work on new scenarios for spending money, time and emotions.
